I am a self-motivated, punctual, hard working 4th year apprentice electrician. I have exceptional technical
ability working across a broad range of systems and facility types, and I pride myself on the quality of my
work and my ability to use resources to complete tasks efficiently. My excellent interpersonal skills make
me a good team member who can communicate and work along side anyone. I am eager to obtain a new
job and continue working towards my red seal certification.

Shell Albian Sands, Shovel Maintenance Electrician
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining all electrical systems with voltages varying from 12v- 13.8kv
• Troubleshoot failed equipment and return equipment to work quickly
• Use drawings, schematics and manuals as a key resource
• Perform major maintenance and upgrades such as motor, transformer, VFD, replacement
• Work in a small area with other trades
• Assess and prepare for future projects
• Work safely in a busy mine environment
• Often work with cranes for lifting large heavy parts

• Receive permits and explain work to plant operations
• Respond to calls from operations and troubleshoot efficiently

• Help organize the Fort McMurray high school student trade and skill competition in 2011.

award of excellence at graduation for combined performance in school and on the job site based
on employer and teacher reviews.
