Matt Feshbach is the vision behind the creation of the Okyanos Heart Institute. Serving as Chief Executive Officer, Matt founded Okyanos with his brother Joe, who sadly and ironically died of a cardiac arrest in 2011. Joe's death prompted an even more diligent effort to provide a new standard of care for patients with no-option CAD. This therapy combines several strong components for a successful treatment option: an EU approved cell therapy technology, a dedicated industry-recognized Chief Medical Officer, a cardiac cell therapy Center of Excellence and a convenient location for United States citizens. Patients will be welcomed at the Freeport, Bahamas facility beginning in June 2012.
