Link Business Centre tenants get opportunity to meet
local Councillors
Link Business Centre was visited by local Councillors, along with a
representative of Malvern Hills District Council, Simon Smith, Economic
Development Officer, on Friday 26 February.
Tenants had the opportunity to meet the Councillors and provide them
with a good understanding of their businesses, and to raise any issues they
had with council services. They also discussed how they plan to grow their
businesses for the benefit of the local economy and how the services the
council provides to businesses via their economic development
department can help their development.
Martin Wilesmith, owner of of Link Business Centre (LBC), and Richard Evans,
Property Manager, showed Councillors David Watkins, Robert Kerby and Kwai
Hung Chan round the Centre, a development providing secure purpose-built
premises for a wide range of companies.
The Councillors were very impressed with the size of the site, and how well
the grounds are maintained, reflecting how well the Centre is run.
They were also surprised by the diversity of the businesses there, making it
an excellent representation of how many local people there are in the
Malvern area who have made the first step from working from home to being
based in a commercial unit, amongst like minded entrepeneurs where they
have the facilities and support to thrive.
