Roger Smith of Sense Health & Safety and Clare Jackson of Residential Services teamed up for a CEO competition to give deafblind people a memorable day visiting a civil engineering construction site. They toured the site where a 4,020 tonne railway bridge was moved into place in December 2010 as part of a project to build a new access road and bypass for a hospital. The deafblind people enjoyed getting up close to machinery and wearing safety gear, and the visit was highlighted in the construction company's newsletter.
