The baobab extract comes from the fruit pulp of the Adansonia digitata L. tree, known to have antioxidant activity more than six times that of blueberries. It is a light yellow to yellow brown powder used in food, nutraceuticals, botanical products, cosmetics, medicine and supplements due to its high vitamin C, calcium and magnesium content. The baobab extract is packaged in paper drums with plastic bags and has a two year shelf life when stored properly.
