• It is not recommended to dive
alone
• Frequent communication with
partner allows preventing
unpleasant situations of divers
diseases
• In search and recover one diver is
following the compass while the
other is scanning the sea bottom
5. Time Management skills
• The gas mix in the tank, its
pressure, and the depth someone
is, are all factors that affect the
time allowed to stay underwater
• During dive planning, the depth
and respective time limits are
determined
• Exceeding these limits can prove
fatal
6. Decision Making skills
• In places that are not the natural environment for humans, quick and
reliable decisions must be made, especially in such cases where
someone faces any sort of problem
• Danger is all around, from natural traps to wildlife; calm decisions
can prove wise
7. Self-discipline skills
• Preparation of body and mind is required a day
before, taking a good sleep and staying away from
alcohol
• Annoying the wildlife can force it to fight back
• Hunting is not allowed while on scuba
• Must follow the rules in order to successfully return
on surface
