KIEHL’S
Beginning life as an apothecary in New York City,
Kiehl’s has been supplying New Yorkers with everything
they need for healthy hair and skin since 1921, before
expanding across the world and landing at Burnside
Village in April 2012. Kiehl’s is a family business,
started by a pharmacology graduate. It quickly
became known for excellent service and a growing
line of products which use minimal preservatives and
natural ingredients. They sell products for men and
women, including scrubs, moisturisers and sunscreen,
specifically designed to energise and protect skin,
particularly sensitive skin. You can find all their products
at the Burnside Village store – which is also only its
second free-standing boutique in Australia.
KIKKI.K
When kikki.K founder Kristina Karlsson set up her home
office in Melbourne in 2001, she quickly found something
lacking. A lot of the stylish but practical stationery that
she had used was not available outside her home country
of Sweden – she decided to design her own and kikki.K
was born. Beginning at a small boutique in Melbourne,
the brand quickly took the Australian stationery world
by storm, with stores opening in New Zealand and
Singapore before coming to Adelaide and Burnside
Village. Drawing inspiration from the design principles
of Sweden – simple, clean lines and seasonal colours
– kikki.K offers a wide variety of practical and stylish
stationery to match any home office. Calendars, storage
boxes, diaries, organisers and travel accessories are just
some of the products stationery fans can get their hands
on. And to teach you how to use your stationery to create
an inspiring and productive workspace, you can book a
virtual consultation with a kikki.K organisation consultant.
The SS range is full of bright, happy, summer colours,
with names to match the months ahead – check out the
Happy and Hello Sunshine collections.
