Bats right. Throws right. The book on me is to pitch me high and inside. But baseball aside, I have been in the media most of my adult life -- more than 90 percent of this time in newspapers, with a mistaken foray into television in the '90s which I usually discuss only at gunpoint. After my campaign for California Insurance Commissioner as the Green Party candidate in 2006 -- I just missed getting elected by, oh, 47 percent of the vote -- I became interested in Free/Open Source Software (FOSS) after using it during the campaign. So while I am still a newspaper editor, I am also a FOSS advocate and neophyte programmer as well. I've had a lot of jobs, and what's listed under "Experience"..
