Calibration of weight scales
Weight scales can be connected to a T7 (T4 is not accurate enough), using the in-amp or
differentially. The in-amp way is more accurate and at 24bit 1V range gives an average noise
of 0.036 gram, and the differential way: 0.09 gram (no averaging). To calibrate the weight
scales you have to connect the weight scale and set an Analog input with the maximum
resolution and the minimal possible range.
Then start acquisition with 0 weight, then put
a known weight such as 0.5 kg, and let it acquire for a few seconds, and then put
another weight for example 0.7 kg...Then stop the acquisition, when what we have is stepwise
chart...

and then "Save As"...
Then go to configuration of the collection chart and click
"Calibrate"
Enter the weights in a row, such as 0 0.5 1.2 and choose the stepwise chart from
the list of charts or a file. Click "ok" and the regression line will be calculated and
the multiplication and addition values will be calculated...
The measurements are automatically updated and the weight scale is calibrated....
