1. Production
photos
from
the
set.
I
am
on
the
left;
operating
the
boom
stick
with
Holly
on
the
right,
who
is
holding
the
microphone.
My
job
on
set
was
essential
because
I
was
in
charge
of
recording
all
of
the
audio
for
the
production.
The
Boom
Operator
job
involved
making
sure
that
the
boom
microphone
recorded
essential
audio,
and
also
to
make
sure
that
the
boom
stick
was
not
in
the
shot
of
the
camera,
at
all
times.
With
the
boom
stick
came
the
safety
responsibility
of
making
sure
that
no
one
was
harmed
i.e.
poked
in
the
head.
In
addition
to
the
sick,
I
also
had
to
ensure
that
the
long
wire
that
connected
to
the
microphone
was
clear
of
the
way
of
anyone
walking
near
that
area,
to
avoid
anyone
getting
tripped
by
the
wire
The
image
on
the
left
shows
how
high
the
boom
microphone
should
be
to
ensure
the
most
optimum
level
of
sound
is
recorded.
