MY REASON FOR ELECTING TO STUDY FURTHER
• It will allow me to broaden my knowledge and gain more experience for the
betterment of my future and the lifestyle that I want to live.
• I have also chosen to study further so I can have the qualifications to get a job
that requires one, and because I would be able to apply what I have learned to
the work I do in the future
My expectations of Higher Education

MY EXPECTATIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION
• I expect that the way I think could change from the teaching method.
• I would think that the workload and content will be much harder.
• We would be more interactive with the information that we learn.
• We would learn more skills relative to what degree we are studying
• I expect it to be more intellectually challenging
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SECONDARY AND
TERTIARY EXPERIENCE
SECONDARY EXPERIENCE TERTIARY EXPERIENCE
The learners are forced to answer questions
by the book.
The students are free to answer questions in
an opinionated manner which allows for a
more thinking to take place.
The learners have to dress in uniform which
does not let the learners express themselves
as individuals.
At the tertiary level, you are allowed to dress
however you want, given that it is not
inappropriate, this allows students to show
their individuality and feel more comfortable.
The mood and setting for learning are
sometimes a very negative which affect the
way the learners learn.
It is a much more pleasant environment that
creates a more positive mood that enables
students to have a better state of mind which
increases their productivity.
Less involved with each learner. Provides support for each student
Imposes a lot of rules Is not that strict and is a bit less rules
