It is a pleasure that we write this recommendation for Mr. Christopher “Kit” Headley as he
has been a consistently great employee in our now closed model-making machine shop,
Buzzwerk.
Kit completes all tasks on time and is a very reliable employee. He has been trusted to
produce highly detailed mock ups, models and prototypes utilizing a wide range of skills
including expert level CNC (SurfCAM) programming, ProE proficiency, quality machining of a
variety of materials, detail part prep, handwork, painting, finishing and assembly of high
level design and engineering prototypes. Kit has contributed independently and in team
projects with great success. He is an expert model-maker and problem solver willing to take
on all aspect including bidding, marketing, customer relations, project management and
team leader.
Kit has the ability and willingness to take on, complex engineering proof of concept projects,
His thoughtful and steadfast execution was a good asset to our company. Talented in many
aspects of prototyping and prototype construction including fabrication, machining, hand
build, assembly, finishing and paint operations. Kit is productive and proficient, contributing
to our demanding workflow and seemingly impossible deadlines. He is a team leader and
mentor, training new hires and contributed to shop management, including developed new
processes and procedures.
Kit’s departure is a result of company wide layoffs due to closing of our model-shop. His
contribution to our business has always been very productive and positive.
Kits work ethic, creative style, expert skills and professionalism will serve him and any
potential employer well. Therefore we highly recommend him without reservation.
