To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter in behalf of Kenneth Eplin whom I have known as
parishioner and boss for about a year. Kenny has worked as a member of our
maintenance staff while attending school. He performed his assigned tasks with
thoroughness and commitment.
His passion for helping in our Catholic Youth Organization (the CYO) was
outstanding. He coached our 5th
and 6th
grade teams with care and professional
skill. During the time he offered this service, he was under the supervision of the
President of the CYO, Mr. Mark Scott.
Kenny was appropriate in his behavior and helpful to the young athletes. His work
among them was valued by the players and their families. As part of the
requirements in working with young people and vulnerable adults, Kenny was
expected to take the “Creating a Safe Environment” class at Assumption and sign
a CYO Code of Conduct form as required by the United States Conference of
Catholic Bishops. He fulfilled these expectations.
I commend him to you as a conscientious young man who desires to help others,
particularly in the area of sports and coaching.
