Wolfgang Büchele has been appointed President and CEO of Kemira Oyj, replacing Harri Kerminen who will retire on April 1, 2012 after 26 years with the company. Büchele has been a member of Kemira's Board of Directors since 2009 and brings extensive industrial knowledge and international experience from his career at BASF and as CEO of BorsodChem Zrt. Kemira will hold a press conference on October 27, 2011 to introduce Büchele as the new President and CEO.
