in everyone.

Eric Karlson Master of Divinity
As a second-career student, I was
concerned about getting back into
the classroom that I had not seen in
more than 15 years. But I was quickly
reminded of the resources available
to help make the transition a little bit
easier, and began to feel included in
the greater community of students
like myself.
Sara Bishop Master of Divinity,
Distributed Learning (DL) program
I am working toward my M.Div. from
Ankara, Turkey. My husband serves
in the Foreign Service and we live
and work overseas. If not for the DL
program, I would be waiting at least
five years before pursuing my call. I
am deeply grateful that my education
is challenging and stimulating. My
context is unusual, and I regularly
bring ‘book knowledge,’ ideas and
practices into the real, multi-faith,
multicultural world in which I live
and function.
Taylor Skoglund Master of Arts in
Old Testament
At Luther Seminary, your instructors
will challenge you to go beyond what
you think you’re capable of, and will
help you achieve more than you ever
thought possible. The combination of
an academic and religious education is
invaluable for pursuing your vocation,
even one outside the church. You will
experience a holistic way of doing life
with others. Students, faculty and
staff grow spiritually, intellectually and
emotionally alongside one another.
