HARD COME, HARD GO!
Like the water that runs from one coast to the other, through rivers
that run across a mass land, so is a saying that goes, “Easy come, easy
go.” Those who adhere only to the true beauties of live will not stop
to examine, lest they buy a ‘useless’ opinion. There is a note of truth
in this saying.
A hard-borne business can never be let to fall; the years and the
labour to bring it to birth are too valuable, and too worthy to be
known for being fruitless. A wife so much deservingly loved is like
the husband so much humbly owned, they are a crown never to be
left to rust. A qualified engineer can never stop his aspirations of
adding to this world his inventions, his engineerings… his hard
gotten education is hard to let go.
It suits reason to say, “That which has been hardly gotten, must also
be hardly let go;” hard-come, hard-go. Therefore we will not only do
the easy things, but we will do the hard too; knowing that as hard as
it will be to get these beauties, similarly will it be hard for us to let
them go. Joyfully exerting ourselves in our jobs, building our careers
and business, as hard as it is… knowing that they will always remain
with us, it will be too hard to let them go/fall.
Let all the effort be spent to get the mindset of peace, progress and
prosperity, of love and purpose; the efforts of always doing good that
God may be appreciative.
Jesus Christ suffered for my (and your) glory, be glorious!
