CORRECTION!
At my primary school level, we were used to do corrections of all the
test questions we didn’t get right.
Now just as it can be common that the ambitions of pupils differ,
there used to be some who would even get correction wrong, and
they had to do correction-of-correction. Now imagine if they also get
this wrong!
When the wheels of a car stray away from the road, the car driver
would swiftly steer the car back to the road - correction.
In life there can be times when we walked away from the path;
when we walked into the thorns… the only thing to do is to correct
ourselves. Sometimes we stray from the shading guidance of our
parents, and we feel too much heat; we must do correction. The
farmer who ploughs in the sand would definitely reap nothing, what
he needs is correction; he must plant in the good soil.
But now if year after year you get the same results, but you still keep
ploughing in this sand; saying you will keep on trying might be to
invite failure from hell. Getting the same results confirms that the
same inputs/methods were used; then to get a different result is going
to require a change in method or use of different inputs: correction.
Though you might not have been a good shepherd of your finances,
your health, your family, your business/job, such is the time for you
to do correction; steer your life back to the righteous path of God.
“I would hasten my escape from the windy storm...” Psalm 55:8.
