I am a graduate student currently studying Counseling with a concentration in College Student Development at DePaul University. After graduation in 2016, I hope to work with first-generation and low-income college students in some advising capacity. Being a first-generation college student myself, I know how confusing the first years of college can be for someone without any exposure to higher education. I also know that a strong support system within Student Affairs can make the difference between success and failure. I hope to be a part of that support system for students in the future.
