Karl studied as a mechanical engineer some 20 years ago. This followed by practical experience through Southern and Central Africa, UK and Australia. Karl was introduced to the power of 3D modelling and preconstruction coordination in 1997 in the UK where he worked on large new builds such as Meryl Lynch European Headquarters, Heathrow T3 & T5 and The Millennium Dome. Karl is a Director of Draftech Developments who specialises in filling the holes in the BIM workflow by providing BIM Consulting, Design Modelling and Shop Detailing services on projects with a bias towards the MEP&F fields.
