The overall growth of GDP at factor cost at constant (2004-05) prices (real GDP) for 2013-14 was placed at 4.7 per cent as compared to 4.5 per cent for 2012-13 (as per the Provisional Estimates released on 30th May, 2014). ο¨ Overall growth in the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) was 2.5 per cent during September 2014 as compared to growth of 2.7 in September 2013. During April- September, 2014-15, IIP growth was 2.8 per cent as compared to 0.5 per cent growth in April-September, 2013-14.
