Subject: Volunteering in the 9th UNESCO Youth Forum (26-28 October
2015, Paris, France)
To whom it may concern
Mr Disepo has worked as a volunteer within the team that organized the 9th
UNESCO Youth Forum entitled “Young Global Citizens for a Sustainable Planet”,
held from 26 to 28 October 2015 at UNESCO Headquarters, in Paris, France.
The Youth Forum is a major event that aims to reinforce the links between
UNESCO and youth across the world, and to address the challenges that
confront young women and men today. Around 500 young women and men from
159 Member States gathered this time to discuss thematic issues related to
climate change and the recently adopted 2030 Agenda for Sustainable
Development.
Throughout his engagement with and work for, the Youth Forum team, Mr Disepo
has demonstrated excellent team spirit, organization skills and capacity to work
efficiently under high pressure. He has also shown significant aptitude to
communicate across cultural backgrounds and functions, liaising with the
different youth participants from all regions of the world. I am confident that Mr
Disepo’s work as a volunteer enabled him to gain valuable experience in
managing and organizing large scale events, within a truly international
environment and under considerable pressure.
Without the dedication, commitment and support of Mr Disepo it would have been
impossible to make the 9th
UNESCO Youth Forum the successful event that it
was.
I am pleased to recommend Mr Disepo for any assignment requiring a motivated
and energetic young professional.
Best regards,
Alexander Schischlik
