Denver in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6(9) at the DU Invitational (Sept. 23-25).
2005 Spring: An Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) scholar
athlete selection ... Saw action at the No. 6 slot and recorded win at
No. 6 position.
2004 Fall: Did not play in fall tournaments.
2004 Spring: Named the team’s most improved player … Saw action
in ive matches during the spring achieving a 2-3 record … Tallied one
win each at No. 5 and at No. 6 singles positions … In doubles, saw ac-
tion in one match teaming with Elliot Quibell at No. 3 with an 8-1 win
over Bisanti/Huston of CU-Colorado Springs.
2003 Fall: Participated in the Mountain Regional Tournament in Las

The Gilman School: A four-year letterwinner under head coach Jim
Busick, Rofel was a three-time All-Baltimore City/County recipient
and twice an MIAA All-Conference selection, playing at No. 1, 2 and
3 singles ... Team captain his senior year ... High school team was the
MarylandInterscholasticAthleticAssociation(MIAA)championduring
his sophomore year, and runner-up in his freshman, junior and senior
years ... Achieved a No. 13 ranking in the Mid-Atlantic 16’s in 2000,
No. 15 in Mid-Atlantic 16’s in 1999 and No. 12 in Mid-Atlantic 14’s in
1998 ... Also in 1998, was ranked No. 174 in the National 14’s ... Lists
