There are 3 major areas where we can transform the consumer experience: We can help people find things faster by enhancing the process of searching – we’ve had a lot of innovation here recently with our enhancements to SearchAssist We can help people explore what matters to them by enhancing the information we display with their search results – for example, consumers love to browse through the Web of Things related to celebrity image search queries (including related images in mobile search) We can help people get things done by providing them with tools, apps and highly relevant ads that enable users to quickly complete the tasks that brought them to search in the first place – Search Pad is a great example of how we’re doing this, and you’ll see more from us in this area Today, I’d like to focus on a few things we’re working on to enable exploration of the Web of Things-> As Prabhakar described, we’re helping organize the Web so people can be as efficient as possible when they’re searching or perhaps find things they didn’t even know they were looking for-> [these features will launch in the coming months] New & improved shortcuts: TV, News feeds with time filters, Celebrities, Olympics (mobile) Search everywhere: In addition to search->yahoo->com, people around the world spend lots of time on Yahoo!’s rich content properties and communications services-> Not only can we leverage these wonderful Web assets to add more useful information to search results, we can also make these products better by seamlessly integrating search tools into the sites people use every day – helping them get more things done in the places they already are online (i->e-> search in mail, etc->) “ Infinite Browse” in media properties Y!
