2. Admission after the Baccalauréat
Students can join ENSCMu after the Baccalauréat through
the INSA group (admission.groupe-insa.fr).
Admission after two years
of university study
Students can join ENSCMu after two years of university
study and complete a three-year course leading to
Diplôme d’ingénieur (Master’s). International students
with a solid academic background can join through
different channels:
école nationale
supérieure de chimie
de Mulhouse
enscmu
…is one of the French ‘Grandes Ecoles’ and
trains chemical engineers in close collaboration
with industry. It recruits students after two years
of higher education for three years of training.
Its assets
High-level education covering
all aspects of chemistry, in synergy
with academic and industrial research.
50 % of the curriculum devoted
to practical works.
Individual career plan follow up.
A very good student-per-staff ratio.
A privileged geographical location,
near Switzerland and Germany, with one of
world’s largest chemical and pharmaceutical
industrial centers less than 30 km away.
ENSCMu has been ISO 9001
certified since 2012.
The school belongs to the
Université de Haute-Alsace (UHA).

4. State-of-the-art laboratories
The syllabus is closely related to the research carried
out in the Mulhouse campus research labs. The research
focuses on various fields:
Organic and bioorganic chemistry
Polymer chemistry
Materials chemistry (controled porosity materials...)
Photochemistry, photopolymerisation
Industrial risk and environmental chemistry, chemical
safety
Academic exchanges in final year
Students who graduate from ENSCMu and students
coming from a partner university have the possibility to:
complete a double degree (with a partner university
in Toledo - USA or in Chicoutimi - Quebec ).
spend a semester as an exchange student in one of
our partner universities (Fitec programme in Argentina, Bra-
zil, Mexico, Erasmus programme in UK, Germany, Spain...)
or at ENSCMu for incoming exchanges students.
Cross-border degree programme
Within this programme, students have the possibility to
attend additional cross-cultural courses and to focus
their career plan on German-speaking countries.

5. A green campus
The National College of Chemical Engineering of Mul-
house is located on the main campus of the Université
de Haute-Alsace, set in 50 acres of parcs. ENSCMu
students have access to all facilities and accomodation
avalaible on the campus: housing, catering, health ser-
vices, sports facilities, culture… Easy to reach by public
means of transportation, the campus is 10 minutes from
the city center and it takes less than one hour minutes
to get to the Bâle-Mulhouse EuroAirport.
An attractive Region
Mulhouse is the ideal starting point to discover a beau-
tiful region and its many charms (museums, vineyards,
moutains and ski resorts, gastronomy...).
Mulhouse also offers the possibility to become more
familiar with French, German and Swiss culture and to
work in a cross-cultural environment.
