Dr. Jordi Monés is an M.D., Ph.D., Ophthalmologist, Macula and Vitreorretinal Specialist and Researcher. Director of the Institut de la Màcula, and Director of the Barcelona Macula Foundation: Research for Vision. He is the Coordinator of Ophthalmology at the Centro Medico Teknon. He earned his MD degree at the Universitat de Barcelona, his Ophthalmology degree at CO Barraquer, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, his Retina Specialist degree at the Massachussets Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard University, and at Hospital San José at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education ( ITSM ).
