I'm a 2012 graduate of American University with a B.S in Accounting. I started getting really into web development towards the end of my senior year of college and ended up falling in love with designing and coding web applications. Upon graduation, I decided to move out to Chicago to attend the three month intensive Rails development course at Code Academy (now The Starter League). After leaving Code Academy, I took on an apprenticeship at the agile web development shop 8th Light to study the art of software craftsmanship and test driven development.
