A solicitor with a background in medical and public law, I have specialised in healthcare regulation since 2006. Appointed as Director of Fitness to Practise at the GDC in December 2014, I am leading a significant change and continuous improvement programme aimed at restoring all of the Professional Standard Authority's standards for Fitness to Practise and re-establishing the GDC as a fair, right-touch, high performing regulator in the eyes of the other regulators, the public and the dental profession.
