3. THE DARK RIFT OF THE MILKY WAY GALAXY With more observation, the Izapan astronomers could see that not only were the Pleiades moving by precession, they were, in fact, approaching Zenith at Izapa. The place that never moved, however, was the Dark Rift of the MilkyWay Galaxy, the place pointed to by the arrow of Sagittarius and the Scorpion's tail. Shamans would have traveled in their minds into this zone of the sky and must have felt time-reversals in the Black Hole, as well as new stars being born. The Galactic Center is the divine center for Earth! From Earth's perspective, it is the only stationary place in the sky, as well as being a place of awesome energy. Earth's axis tilts by 23 ½ degrees as it orbits around the Sun, which causes the movement of the Sun on the horizon during the seasons. Meanwhile, where the Sun rises in the constellations is always changing by precession. 9. 9 THE GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION OF THE WORLD TREE To find the location of theWorld Tree, Calleman looked for the line separating East and West. He chose the midline of the continental mass of Earth from the western tip of Alaska to the eastern tip of Siberia, which is longitude 12 degrees east, hereinafter referred to as the "midline." This is logical and quite visually compelling when you spread out a world map. Calleman notes, however, that physical geography is nor the only clue, since this is also a "spiritual geography"-an organizing system influencing human events. 15. 15 The rational, action oriented, Western Hemisphere is a parallel to the left, "male" brain hemisphere with its analytical thinking and centers for speech, calculation, and sequential logic. The meditative Eastern Hemisphere, on the other hand, parallels the right, intuitive, wholeness-oriented, "female" brain hemisphere, which is also the center for our spatial and artistic abilities. What this means is that the different mentalities we find typical for people from the East and West have ultimately been generated by the World Tree. In this global brain structure, divided approximately along the trunk of the World Tree, the region of Germany-ltaly corresponds to the hypothalamus-hypothesis complex, the regulatory center of the mammalian brain. In today's world, Italy and Germany may not often be thought of as being in such central Positions, but during the Renaissance and the Reformation they certainly were. Through the Roman and German-Roman Empires, as well as the Papacy, this region dominated the history of Europe for some two thousand years. An interesting key to holographic resonance is the fact that the human brain in a relaxed or meditative state displays alpha waves with a frequency of 7 to 13 Hz (cycles per second), and that the lower end of this is close to the so-called Schumann resonance of 7.8 Hz that envelops the earth. The Schumann resonance is a standing wave of electricity produced in the ionosphere cavity between the earth and the ionosphere, which is rich in electrical discharges due to thunderstorms and so on. The Schumann resonance is a constant of this particular planet and does not change over time, except for a minor variation of t o.5 Hz due to varying solar activity (contrary to rumors concocted in the New Age community that it is increasing). The reason for the stability of the Schumann resonance is that its value depends on just two simple figures: the speed of light at t86,ooo miles per second (3oo,ooo km/s) and the circumference of the earth of 24,450 miles (4o,ooo km)’ Hence it has a value close to186,ooo/2 5,ooo = 7 .5 cycles/s: 7 '5 Hz. Because the circumference of the earth's surface depends directly on its radius (r = 24,450/2∏ = 3,893 miles), the lower end of the alpha frequency in human as well as other mammalian brains has the same frequency as an electrical field produced by a standing wave circulating with that radius. Thus, regardless of what meaning, if any, we would attribute to the mental resonance with thunder- storms measured at the Schumann frequency, it seems that the human mind is in a relaxed state when it is in resonance with a field at the surface of the earth, Since this surface is where we live, this is probably not a coincidence, and in this sense we may look upon the meditative alpha state as a means of coming home. 17. 17 The concordance between these traditional ranges for the frequencies of different types of brain waves and the radiuses of the earth's spheres is remarkable. This concordance, moreover, is not something we need to go to obscure scientific journals to verify. It is among the most basic knowledge for students of the respective fields; and for a scientist used to experimental difficulties, the concordance is astounding. One is tempted to draw the conclusion that the different mental states of the human being are simply functions of resonances with different spherical layers surrounding the earth's center. when, for instance, we are in the alpha state, we are in resonance with a field of consciousness in the earth's mantle (extending from the earth's crust to the outer core), and when we are in deep sleep we are in resonance with the earth's outermost resonance body. I do not mean to suggest that the resonance itself is electromagnetic in nature, but rather that when we are in resonance with, or when we tune in to, these different mental earthly fields, electromagnetic currents with the same frequencies are activated in our brains. 20. 20 The main organizer of the planetary chakra system, the World Tree, pulsates with a rhythm described by the Mayan calendar, and through it the spiritual planetary meridian system and the rhythms of divine creation are directly linked. In a very literal sense, the inner core of Mother Earth has a heartbeat that corresponds to the frequency of change between Heavens. This is the pulse beat of the evolution of our planet charted by the Mayan calendar. The idea of “listening to Mother Earth” takes on a new meaning in this perspective. No longer is Mother Earth only something below us that we graciously take care of. She is also something larger than us with which we need to be in resonance for our evolution toward enlightenment. Our relationship to the earth is not just a matter of “saving the planet" for the sake of its survival. 21. 21 Early computer representations of the heart's energy field look like a fat, neatly symmetrical doughnut, as in figure 3. Recently, magnificent images of the actual energy arcing out from a living human heart-the torus in its immediate formation-were made at the University of Utah using a new magnetic imaging device. (See figure 4.) These actual arcs are not the neat symmetries of earlier computer projections, but organic, constantly shifting, living forces. Both the perfect symmetry of the computer rendering and the living asymmetry of the actual phenomenon as captured by magnetic imaging are, to me, nearly sacred, considering all they represent. This torus function is apparently holographic, meaning that any point within the torus contains the information of the whole field. That is, at any location within the heart's field, no matter how infinitesimal, all The frequencies of the heart’s spectrum are present. Though this characteristic may be puzzling to common sense, it is a matter of great significance to our brain and body. 30. 30 Glossary of Terms: Mayan Calendar Terms: Trecena – a unit consisting of thirteen days that then “becomes a kind of microscopic reflection of the energy changes that rule the long-term spiral evolution of human history”. (page 20 of Calleman’sThe Mayan Calendar; Transformation of Consciousness). Uinal - a different unit of twenty days with each day assigned a name of an animal, reptile, or natural quality Tzolkin – the “count of days” or Sacred Mayan Calendar consisting of the 260 combinations of the trecena and the uinal, each having their own spiritual qualities Tun – (ancient for “stone” that would mark the beginning of another 360 day year) The 360 day year isbased on a natural cycle used in many ancient civilizations, where they may have also employed a 365 day year for more civil or secular activities in which the added five days lacked the gods’ presences. The basic unit for all successive units illustrated in figure 5.2 which are all multiples of the tun X 20 Long Count – a larger unit of time comprised of 144,000 trecenas, approximately 5, 000 years which also equals 394.3 solar years, or 13 X baktun (400 tuns or 360 day periods). The Long Count is considered to be the period beginning Aug. 11, 3114 BC to Dec. 21, 2012, the beginning date considered to be the “Fall” of humanity because it no longer lived in the present and began thinking in terms of judgment, hierarchies and the use of weaponry. Calleman asks on page 26, “What if the Garden of Eden was a level of nondual consciousness, and its Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was identical with the World Tree raised by the First Father (God) of the Maya”? Heaven(s) – not indicating a place or dimension but rather a lengthy time period (approximately 394-5 years) characterized with specific qualities or “ruling deities” that generated some aspect of the life cycle, the macro version of a day that volleys with nights historically witnessing shifts of cultural powers going back and forth between East and West. The Long Count contains 13 Heavens – 7 “Days” and 6 “Nights” that alternate in a yin yang fashion (see figure 4.3).

31. 31 World Tree – based on the many indigenous peoples’ understanding of the four direction, it is an energetic center from which the spiritual life force seems to spring – for this analysis of human evolution and history, Calleman hypothetically places through the midline of the continental land mass of the earth at 12 degree Longitude which is then easily verified by recognizing the movements of historical shifts in power (see fig. 3.10) Underworld - not a dark, scary underground place as it sounds but rather an overlapping phase or period of time that the Mayans identified beginning as far back as the Big Bang…and each successive, overlapping period has been shorter, leading to the briefest which is about to begin – the Ninth, lasting only 260 days as opposed to the first that is still in process that began approximately 16.4 billion years ago. The reason why the name “Underworld” is even associated with describing a period of time is that, “Underworlds are related to the sequentially activated crystalline structures in the earth’s inner core”, in other words, as our earth and solar system travel through space, different frequencies activate different facets of the earth’s center that then generate frequencies that affect the development of life and consciousness on the surface of the earth. As the chart illustrates, the first Underworld (or time period) cultivated cellular activity, the second the development of animals, and so on until this imminent ninth phase described as the Universal where literally, the Universe is coming of age and human consciousness is the witness, a culmination where the Creator and created can be aware of one another and there is a global awareness of our place in creation! Frequent Resonance Repatterning Terms: Resonance – where one vibration triggers and vibrates in sync with another, where two frequencies (cycles per second) are in tandem with one another as when one tuning fork stimulates a second one purely through this principle. Entrainment – “A state of synchronization when a stronger frequency, or oscillation, brings other frequencies that are close by into alignment with it. For example, a large pendulum clock synchronizes the swing of smaller pendulum clocks when they are all placed together on a wall.” *

All human beings will in a much deeper sense than at present, be recognized as having equal value – each as her own manifestation of the Divine.
