To Whom It May Concern:
This letter acknowledges that John Glenning worked for 1K Electronics in Farmington
Hills, Michigan from late May of 1993 to late July of 1993 as a Contract Engineer on our
printed circuit board manufacturing line. During that time, I was working as Engineering
Manager with John reporting to me.
John’s work was nothing short of outstanding and I am giving him a very strong
recommendation ofemployment to anyone who is considering him. When John notified
us that he was leaving to take a flill-time, permanent position elsewhere, we offered him a
permanent position with 1K Electronics. John has a very strong work ethic and he
worked well with the other the engineers, technicians and operators. John is very strong
technically.
John’s initial assignment was to resolve problems with the Adhesive and Component
Placement operation. Using his ingenuity, determination and technical know-how, John
was able to raise yields from the mid 60s to high 90s. Working closely with the
equipment manufacturer, John reduced the equipment downtime and was able to
significantly increase the throughput rate ofthe machine, which resulted in savings of
almost $6,000,000 in unneeded capital investments.
John was also given responsibility for the Conformal Coating operation where he did
mechanical, electrical and PM upgrades to the machine, significantly reducing the
downtime.
I strongly recommend John for employment elsewhere and I would consider hiring him
again in the future.
Sincerely,
çk~1~J D). ~
