Left a comfort zone of more than 10 years with the Singapore Environment Council (SEC)
to join the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) as a teacher in India for a year. (I
ended up teaching the teenagers there less academic subjects but became a remedial
tutor/counsellor/mentor)
During my stint with SEC, i did regular talks on being a responsible consumer to schools as
well as for corporates; administered the Schools Green Audit Award and was a
volunteer-coordinator with the Green Volunteers.

Singapore Education System.
Started various initiatives while at Parikrma Humanity Foundation in India like music
therapy (recorder club) and meditation therapy(for those showing violent tendencies)
Facilitated several CDAC Parents Development Programme in Secondary Schools
Lead the group counselling sessions at Changi Prison (for Drug Rehab)
Handled the project development arm of PUB ABC Water trails for primary and
secondary schools in 8 locations nationwide
Co-organised annual events from Movie screenings (like HOME and Age of Stupid), Tree
Planting on Earth Day, World Environment Day to Adopt a Plant projects in schools
