The PLS: 2012 Bulletin includes changes in house area assignments, as well as changes in section shifts.
1) Changes in House Area assignments
From the data collected by the SA from the past year, we've observed that the areas with the most traffic (front lob, back lob and caf) are the areas that are the most untidy. We then decided to assign a new area to each house weekly to ensure fairness, since each house will have to clean each of the 8 areas at least once.
2) Changes in Section Shifts
It has also come to our attention that several sections cannot clean the area assigned to them on the day assigned to them because their schedules are full on the said day. Thus, the SA has made the schedule more practical by matching sections' shifts with their half days or early dismissal days. However, we could not accommodate all sections due to conflicts in schedule (like if 2 or more sections in the house have the same half day, etc).
3) Strict monitoring of PLS implementation will be done by the CAT and CARE. Monitoring forms will also be revised to match the changes in the guidelines and will be distributed by January 16.

PLS: 2012 Bulletin
1. PLS: THE PISAY LINIS CAMPAIGN (REVISED: Jan 2012)
Brought to you by the STUDENT ALLIANCE, CARE, THE CAT and THE DISCIPLINE OFFICE
The PISAY LINIS CAMPAIGN deals with the upkeep of cleanliness and order throughout the PSHS Main Campus. Every house is assigned a different area per week,
and each section is assigned a day to clean and monitor that area to ensure its upkeep through the day.
CLEANLINESS pertains to the absence of litter, trash, and other unsightly objects in the assigned area. Such items include, but are not limited to, food
containers, bottles and cans, paper waste, presentation props, and leftovers.
ORDERLINESS pertains to the upkeep of materials, fixtures, and furniture in the assigned area. Such items include, but are not limited to, trash bins,
school signs, boards, benches, lights, unassigned bags, and other possessions.
Each section is responsible for their assigned area and penalties will be given when that area is seen as unclean and untidy upon inspection, which
will be done at 12:00 noon and 5:00 pm. On Fridays, the whole house is expected to clean the area assigned to them for the week.
The SA and the Pisay Linis Committee have taken into account all sections’ class schedules (half-days) and has come up with a more practical schedule to ensure
that all sections will be able to clean the areas assigned to them. The schedule can be found below:
