"Sometimes it feels like people don’t want to know about MS—they don’t want to
3
deal with it. I want others living with MS to find the silver lining because it’s always
there; you just have to look for it. I’m very strong willed—for me, it’s just another
bump in the road."
LIZ'S STORY
Bakersfield MS Service Day
MS affects everyone differently. For Jim and his wife Lynn, house and yard work
were proving hard to check off the to-do list. Enter the Kaiser volunteers! The group
took care of the entire yard, cleaned the house, and even installed a new kitchen
faucet.
Lynn did not hesitate to share her appreciation, "There is no other organization that
does as much as the National MS Society does, and no one who shows as much
kindness. Words can't express how grateful we are."
You can help change lives, too!
