To Whom It May Concern,
Miss Jedidiah Silud has been a full-time BA student on the Fashion Design program at
Raffles School of Continuing Education for two years. It has been my pleasure to have
been her principle tutor over the last twelve months.
Over the course of her studies, Jedidiah has received a thorough grounding in sewing,
drafting, draping and the complimentary academic courses including fashion marketing,
textile and fashion history. It is however in the creative courses that she displays her
strengths: in conceptual research, and design process and development courses.
Jedidiah’s own work shows a definite style that illustrates her personality and approach
to life. Her aesthetic is subtle and exploratory with elements of injected humour. Her
designs are a result of extensive development of her concepts.
Jedidiah copes with the pressures of producing a substantial body of work in a narrow
time frame. She is able to self-motivate. She is very serious and hard working. After
getting to know her, one finds also that she is witty and jocular.
I hope that with the work she has undertaken here that she will have the professional
approach and skill level to realise the potential of her design signature.
