Acting in special nature lawsuits for prestigious foreign European companies regarding amounts of
approximately 3 billion Engaged as Counsel in a weapons contract dispute between the Iraqi Ministry of
Defense and an Italian firm, valued at USD 1.6 billion. Advised on various medical disputes, including on
an agreement to supply medicines and medical equipment between a Swiss firm and the Iraqi Ministry
of /KIMADIA; a Lebanese firm and the Iraqi Ministry of /KIMADIA; and an Indonesian firm and the Iraqi
Ministry of /KIMADIA. Seizing a vessel in Um Qasser port in Basra, Iraq. Advising on litigation between a
Japanese construction and mining equipment firm and an Iraqi well-known accountancy firm. Working
with a specialized team to prepare a study in connection with merging Iraqi banks in accordance with
the Iraqi laws and regulations. Negotiated and advised on converting companies in Iraq from limited to
joint-stock and listing them as a publicly traded shares' in the Iraqi Stock Exchange. Additionally,
setting up local banks at which foreign banks are shareholders. Advised on the structuring and
privatization of an Iraqi ministry's public companies and demonstrating the legal forms from which the
companies can operate as investment and listed companies.

held in Erbil sponsored by the Bar Association regarding, among other subjects, legal modernization
