Opportunities
Development is looking for a few good volunteers. The
Development Office is seeking volunteers to assist with various
fundraising activities during the year. We have opportunities
for committed volunteers to connect with PVPA parents and
alumni, assist with planning and running special events, and to
share the PVPA story with more community members. Passion
for PVPA and willingness to advocate on our behalf are the only
prerequisites. If you are interested or want to nominate someone
who fits the bill, please contact our new Director of Development,
Dan Kirsch, at 552-1596 or dkirsch@pvpa.com.
Needed: healthy snacks for middle school students. We
need food for hungry students to eat when they have run out of
their own. Great options include whole carrots, apples, pretzel
rods, granola bars, celery, etc. (anything simple that kids can grab
and go). Please contact Joanne to arrange days to bring perishable
items, or just bring in anything that we can store and serve at any
time. Thanks!
Special thanks and gratitude to Chris Thompson of the Majestic Theater
for her invaluable support in the providing and creation of costumes.
Without her, there would be none!
To Janet Lowry for creating the program (and all of the last minute edits).
You are a saint!
To all the members of the One-Act class...thanks for all of your hard
work, patience and humor!
Although Election Day just passed, you still have a very
important vote to cast this year in favor of PVPA. Votes
are valid through December 31, 2006.
Florence Savings Bank (FSB) is once again asking its customers
to help the bank give away $50,000 to local non-profit
organizations. Through FSB’s Customers’ Choice Community
Grants, the bank’s customers get to vote on which local civic
and charitable groups are worthy of receiving a portion of
$50,000 in grants.
We are encouraging all PVPA families and friends who are
FSB customers to cast their vote in favor of our school. Every
vote counts!
There is one vote per person and only FSB customers are
allowed to vote. Completed ballots must be received by
December 31. You can vote in person at any FSB branch or
use this link to submit your vote electronically.
Go to www.florencesavingsbank.com and click on the
Customer’s Choice Community Awards button!
If you have any questions, please contact our Director of De-
velopment, Dan Kirsch, at 413.552.1596 or dkirsch@pvpa.
