Scholarship Application Letter
To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Jadyn Nichole Gibson and I am writing this application to aid me in my journey
in becoming a nursing major. Having the opportunity to expand my knowledge in the medical
field at Pikeville would be amazing and I would do everything required of me to the best of my
ability. Being the dedicated student that I am, I have shown throughout my high school career
and softball career that when I am shown a difficult obstacle I will make every effort to best
represent not only myself but those who have given me a chance to demonstrate such. This is
apparent in my excitement and dedication to continue my education at The University of
Pikeville. No matter the situation thrown my way, I always get the job done and do it to the best
of my ability. I have played school and travel softball and maintained a 3.6 GPA. It is clear my
study habits, hard work, and ability to choose my priorities wisely were necessary in helping me
arrive at my goal of being able to go to Pikeville and to pay for the fees required to better myself,
continue my education, and have fun while working to improve my future.
Sincerely,
Jadyn Gibson
