1. Shredding Event: What to do, how to sort, what to shred
Bring whatever materials you have to be shredded in boxes, bags, piles – no problem.
There is a limit of five boxes. JBM-HH’s partner in shredding will transfer your
documents into a container to be lifted and tipped into the shredding unit.
You can watch your documents being securely destroyed right on the truck.
Shred because you can prevent identity theft – those documents will be history; all
shredded material is recycled – good for the earth; and you will meet your neighbors
and colleagues.
Shred this: paper, manila folders, staples, paper clips, rubber bands.
Don’t shred this: newspaper, credit cards, CDs, cardboard, three-ring binders,
binder clips.
