Contrasts of township life

1. South African townships are home to majority of black people.
Black people love township life.
Despite the economic improvements of black people, many remain
In the townships as opposed to moving to upper class areas.
What tells apart a middle and lower class African is the type of house they reside in.

2. This is a tin house in an informal settlement .
The poorest members of society reside in such housing.
Informal settlements do not have basic services such as water
and electricity.

3. In some cases big families consisting of up to twelve members share a small tin home.
