4. Cement paint is water based paint and is applied to either exterior or interior
including brick work and concrete. It is used for painting exterior wall surface
mainly for preventing water penetration and reductions of dirt collection. It is
suitable for coating concrete as well as decorating indoor and outdoor walls.

moistened surface in upward direction uniformly with putty blade. On drying remove the projected
marks gently with putty blade. After about 2-4 hrs. apply second coat of wall putty and see that the total
thickness of putty on the wall is about 1½ mm. Allow the surface to dry completely and remove any
marks with putty blade then rub the surface gently with very fine emery paper before application of
paint.

Areas where Anti Carb Primer may be applied onplasters, concrete and other masonry surfaces. The
masonry surfaces should fully cured, dry and free from loose materials.
Surface Preparation Remove paint, dirt, loose particles from the surface to be painted using wire mesh. Fill
up minor cracks with crack-seal putty. Cracks which are larger than 5mm have to be filled with cement
work. Let it dry completely. Check moisture content of the substrate. It should be below 12% for superior
performance of the primer.
Can be applied with Spray, brush or roller after suitable dilution

16. AMPUS® Anti-Carb has been formulated to confer long term protective and decorative properties to concrete and
masonry surfaces. The micro-porous structure of the coating acts as a barrier to the ingress of Chlorides and
Carbon Dioxide and other acid gases, but allows the passage of water vapour from the substrate. The elastomeric
nature of Anti-Carb ensures good crack bridging properties, in case of structural movement.

grease, moss, algae, dust and any

Concrete surfaces shall be fully cured

o BY ROLLER: Apply roller grade by brush or roller to evenly coat the surface. A heavy
first coat followed by a lighter second coat will give milder texture. A heavy second
coat will produce a more aggressive texture. Adding a small amount of water to the
product will reduce the texture profile and can provide more of an orange peel texture.
o BY SPRAY : Apply spray grade by Hopper Gun, pressure pot or airless spray system in a
complete even coat to the entire surface to completely seal and protect the surface.
Once the base coat is dry, apply a spray texture coat by lowering the air back pressure.
Spray pressure will be dependent on the type of spray equipment being used. Test the
spray application technique first on a piece of cardboard and note the pressure settings
needed to accomplish the desired finish desired. Typical pressure pot base coat
application uses only 10 to 15# of fluid pressure and 30# of air pressure. Texturing uses
20# of fluid pressure and only 5-10# of air pressure.
Higher air pressure = smaller dots and vice versa.

speaker cabinets, road cases and other applications.
Ampus® Speaker Cabinet Texture Coating is a blend of high technical polymers & special
coalescent for creating high relief spatter textures. Ampus® Speaker Cabinet Texture Coating
requires no special primers and easily applies withHopper Gun, HVLP Pressure pot, brush or
