What is ECP??
•External Counterpulsation (ECP) therapy
is a non- invasive technique for treating
patients with Heart Disease/ Blockage,
Coronary artery Disease. This treatment
involves no pain, no surgery,
and no hospitalisation.
•This treatment helps in removing blockage and develops body
bypass channels naturally. ECP is a mechanical procedure in which
long inflatable cuffs (like blood pressure cuffs) are wrapped around
both of the patient’s legs. A full course of ECP is 30-35 hours, 1 hour
or 50 minutes daily for 5-6 weeks.
ECP develops new pathways around blocked arteries in the heart by

5. PERFORMANCE THAT PATIENTS CAN RELY ON
There are two key components to ECP therapy: Markedly increasing the
amount of perfusion pressure going into coronary vessels during diastole,
and decreasing the amount of work the heart has to perform during systole.
The CARE 15 ECP Therapy System generates these acute homodynamic effects
by “milking” blood out of the lower extremities. It utilizes compressive cuffs,
which are securely wrapped around the patient’s calves, thighs, and buttocks.
These cuffs inflate in a distal to proximal sequence in early diastole, and deflate
simultaneously in late diastole just prior to the onset of systole. Inflation and
deflation are synchronized to the patient’s ECG to optimize therapeutic benefit.
ECP therapy is a noninvasive procedure that is safe, simple, and effective.
FULLY AUTOMATED PROCESS
CARE 15 is user friendly and provides more effective treatment by
automatically determining the optimum inflation and deflation timing and by
incorporating a feedback control loop to regulate the air tank pressure. The
advanced system design reduces the time and effort to train operator and
produces consistent and effective treatment that does not rely on a machine
operator’s judgment.
MOTORISED BACKREST ADJUSTMENT
Bed can be adjusted to facilitate ease to the patients. It adjusts to the ideal
