Washington & Jefferson College is still accepting applications for first year and
transfer admission with a merit scholarship. Merit scholarships are not full
scholarships, but range from $8,000 to $18,000 and are guaranteed each year if

Pittsburg State University's College of Business is excited to host the
International Mini-MBA Certificate Program which is a great introduction to Master of Business
Administration. The Mini-MBA Program will be held this summer on July 9-25, 2014. The program is
uniquely designed to accommodate the international learner and to introduce the U.S. business
environment presented by the faculty of PSU's AACSB accredited and award-winning business
school.
This non-degree, non-credit bearing program is open to all students, both undergraduate and
graduate, as well as professionals in the workforce. Students do not need to have a business

CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY (CA) SCHOOL OF PHARMACY MASTERS
OF SCIENCE IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES
Beginning Fall 2014, Chapman University School of Pharmacy (CUSP) will offer a 2-year, yearround thesis and non-thesis Master of Science in the Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSPS) for
students interested in a broad range of scientific disciplines critical to the discovery and
development of new drugs and therapies.
Graduates of the program can pursue a variety of career opportunities in pharmaceutical and
biotechnology companies. A number of pharmaceutical, biomedical, and medical device companies
are located both in and around the Irvine Rinker Health Science Campus where CUSP is located in
Orange County, California. Chapman created this program because company leaders indicate their
personnel needs project significant employment opportunities for MSPS graduates. Also, graduates
are positioned to work as researchers at universities, for agencies like the Food and Drug
Administration (FDA), which also has a large office in Orange County, U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP),

5. UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO'S (NM) ONLINE TOEFL PREP COURSE
The Center for English Language and American Culture (CELAC) at the
University of New Mexico (UNM) is now offering a 9-week TOEFL iBT
(Internet-Based Test) Preparation Course ONLINE! The course will begin on
March 10th and end on May 9th, 2014.
The TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based) Preparation Course will help students meet three goals:
ā¢ Better understand the format of the TOEFL iBT test, and each section individually
ā¢ Develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills required for success on the TOEFL iBT test
ā¢ Learn strategies for time management and other test-taking skills that will improve performance on
the TOEFL iBT test.
This online course allows students to:
ā¢ Utilize live web-conferencing every Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. (MST) to interact directly with your
instructor
ā¢ Access classroom content, instructor videos, homework, and practice tests at any time from
anywhere
The TOEFL iBT Preparation Course is available for $150. Students will be responsible for
purchasing the Official Guide to the TOEFL Test, Fourth Edition textbook for $21.95. Students may
purchase and download the eBook or order the paperback textbook through the official ETS website.
**The TOEFL iBT Preparation Course is designed for students who have an intermediate to
advanced knowledge and understanding of the English language before beginning the course.**
The deadline to apply for the TOEFL iBT Preparation Course is Friday, February 21st, 2014 at 5:00
