MY ART:
Self- created: I'm a Free Artist, I knew nothing about art and
never been interested before getting involved and still , I just
started painting and creating statues of wood out of a sudden,
with no recognized motive, no academic or practical artistic
knowledge at all, using a paper cutter blade in the beginning
(2006) and that was the ultimate coincidence that revealed the
hidden artist I have inside. This dream-like experience repeats
with the same astonishment every time I get in contact with
colors and blocks of wood.
On the other hand, I'm not a full-time artist, I work occasionally,
art is not something I live on, but I live for, it wasn't my choice
but I only feel truly existed when I'm doing it.
Improvised: no ideas, imaginings or layouts, I start working
with nothing in mind about what's going on, just like a blind
man wandering in the land of lights, he feels the their warmth
but he can't see them, he confuses, panics and gets worried and
this is when his insight gets active and he forgets he's the blind
and becomes the light, and burn, so: the whole thing is Never
about picturing or carving out a recognized shape that conveys
an idea or expresses a feeling but about instinctive ability to
have a special affair with wood and colors, and awakening the
stagnant capability to create out of nothing and developing the
body and essence skills to reach the phase of unity with
unconscious beings.
Egoistic: silence and solitude, the earth and sky of the realm of
improvisation, this is why I work Alone, in deep silence and
solitude, thoroughly separated from the surroundings on all
levels and from all related to superficial emotional awareness,
it's like holding a sacred private ritual, independent to any

external source of inspiration or influence, and this is why I
never been into any exhibition or got in contact with other
artists or their artworks, I kept myself isolated on purpose so
what comes out is conclusively expressing me, my different
countless egos I'm getting to know with every artwork
achieved.
With bare hands: One essential practice of improvisation is
adopting the most intimate methodusingonlythe body to grab
and control the block of wood, the thing that makes it an
extension of the body throughout the whole process, in
addition to preserving the basic tools (Hammer, one chisel,
rasp) to develop new techniques in treating blocks of wood
with the highest level of dexterity, consciousness and sense of
humanity.
Passionate : the pure passion with colors and wood as
inspirative creatures with interactive features, the different
aromas, patterns, colors and natures of the different kinds, and
the state of transcendence I have as one with special skills to
deal with wood on more than a level, all that makes this
relationship intimate, productive and limitless.
On the run: withmy roamingatelier( my Woody VW car) , I'm
used to improvise my artworks anywhere possible, with what
available materials and I count totally on chance in meeting my
woods and pieces of painting just like I meet people, the thing
that makes it fateful and this is another principle in the
approach ofimprovisationI embrace, not to interfereor choose
or make, it should be manifested, chosen and made by itself.
MY CREATURES:
"I don't make or design any intentional shapes, I, as it happens, dig
out the petrified soul in each wood, just like the archaeologist does
when digging out the buried bodies part after part, unaware of what
figure will be until it's completely exposed".

I have a mounting collectionof paintings on coconut crusts and wood
boards, wood sculptors and construction works using wood (natural
and processed), anything that gives a color and special pieces of
metal.
