Hrishikesh was born in Ranchi, Jharkhand. After finishing B.Sc. in Chemistry (Hons.) he studied Textile Design from NIFT, New Delhi. He worked with a wide range of private sector clients, International and National NGO’s including IM Sweden, TLM UK, MESH, ILFS CDI, Avani, Fabindia, AIACA and SEWA. With the financial support of IM Sweden and TLM UK he established and run Design Studios with the facilities in Weaving, Embroidery, Printing, Dyeing, Wood and Bead work and developed the capacity and capability of artisan groups from various parts of India.
