Cha Hou Yean is a Malaysian citizen living in Selangor, Malaysia. He received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Technology Malaysia in 1992. He has over 20 years of experience teaching piano and music lessons. Currently, he teaches group music lessons through the Junior Music Program and provides private piano lessons following the ABRSM syllabus. From 1992 to 2009, he also worked as an engineer at Toshiba Electronics Malaysia, where he gained experience in machine maintenance and production control. In his personal time, he enjoys playing piano and guitar at his church and engaging in various music-related activities.
