White Bathroom Vanities – The Perfect Finishing Touch For Your
Bathroom
There are quite a few advantages to having a white bathroom vanity. I've talked about a few of them before: white
is a light, bright, open color and can help open up a room and make it seem larger. Because it's also the most
neutral color, it's easy to change the look of your bathroom without having to swap out your vanity or worry
whether your new colors will clash. That said, there's a huge variety of sizes, styles, and designs even once
you've narrowed it down to "white vanity." So if you're a little stumped on where to start, these are a few of my
favorites that come fully assembled and ready to install.
Silkroad Exclusive HYP-0152-UWC-48
This Traditional white vanity from Silkroad Exclusive is antique inspired - from the carved molding just below the
counter to the sassy period style feet. Even the curved edges and the slightly concave doors and drawers all
come from genuine historical designs. It's not quite a replica antique, but the design is both classical and timeless,
and the blemishless white finish evokes Greek and Roman marble architectural carvings, enhancing the regal feel
of the vanity. Perfect for a stately, luxurious period inspired bath.

Legion Ivory White Vanity
Similarly, this slightly off white Legion vanity incorporates several antique details, like the romanesque column
corners and intricately carved feet. However, unlike the one from Silkroad Exclusive, which is based on genuine
antique designs, this vanity merges classical flair with more contemporary design. Overall, it's a much more
casual fixture with just enough embellishment to draw the eye.
Decolav Gabrielle White Wood Vanity With Glass Top
For a more updated, modern twist on on a classical style, you really can't beat this classy, sleek Gabrielle vanity
from Decolav. One of my absolute favorite vanities, this one merges a very modern, slightly glossy white finish,
green glass counter, and integrated sink with classically inspired curves. The drawer pulls are modern brushed
steel, but echo the curves of the legs and the bottom edge, giving it a vintage dressing vanity look and feel.
Perfect for a sophisticated yet minimal bathroom.

Porcher Savina White Vanity
This Savina vanity from Porcher, too, combines a minimal modern design with only the subtlest hints of classical
inspiration. The thin, hand-beaded paneling is reminiscent of fine 18th century wainscoting (and looks great paired
with similar wall panels), which brings just a touch of class to an otherwise simple vanity. The vintage pull also
helps enhance the period feel, but the simple lines are casual enough that this vanity can work with just about any
decor, from ultra modern to very traditional.
Pegasus Carrabelle 36 Inch Glacier White Vanity
It's actually pretty amazing how much just a few simple lines can do for the overall look and feel of a vanity. This
Carrabelle Glacier White Vanity is a little bit wider, but replaces the simple square-in-square wainscoting with a
medium thickness beadboard style, immediately making it look and feel more casual. Again, this works great with
a matching wall treatment, and is the perfect companion to a cottage style bathroom. The right paint color will
make this icy white look warm and inviting, and will really help brighten even a dimly lit space.

Turn those vertical beadboard lines into horizontal slats like those on this Islander vanity from Xylem and again
the look changes completely. More tropical beach side than New England seaboard, the doors on this vanity echo
hurricane shutters, and the slightly warmer cream finish (though it's also available in a dazzlingly bright white)
feels sun-soaked and warm. Of course, the white version would work great in a bathroom in the Hamptons, but I
personally like this one for a more exotic design.
Pegasus 60 Inch White Vanity From The Cottage Collection
This Cottage Series white vanity from Pegasus is like the Islander's older brother, sized to fit two sinks with
storage space to spare but with similar shutter style under-the-sink doors. The beadboard on the side panels,
again, makes it cottage style bathroom friendly, but the ever so slightly antiqued finish makes it a little less in your
face. It'll still add a lot of light and brightness to your bathroom, but if the area's going to see a lot of traffic, the
rustic finish might hide wear and tear better than a solid white vanity.
Antique Parchment Single Vanity From Belle Foret
Of course, the weathered look is best suited to an antique, period style bath. This Antique Parchment White vanity

from Belle Foret is relatively heavily aged, but the weathering only enhances the intricate floral and scallop shell
carvings that cover the faces and legs of the vanity. For a truly vintage looking (rather than just classically styled)
bathroom, an aged, antique-inspired vanity like this one is definitely the way to go - and the white finish, again,
keeps you from getting limited to a single wood tone.
Sagehill Metro White Bathroom Vanity
Then again, sometimes you just want something simple and contemporary. This Metro White vanity from Sagehill
Designs is sleek and open, with lots of vertical lines and white space to help visually expand your bathroom. That
big open middle (especially coupled with the stripey open sides) is absolutely perfect for a small bathroom
because it gives the sense of lots more open space. And with the double drawers at the base, you won't have to
sacrifice much storage to get it, either.

This Adler vanity from Hardware Resources does much the same thing in a slightly more compact design, leaving
a large open air space between the base and the main body of the vanity. The advantage of this one is not only
that there's more storage, but that it's a little easier to get to. The square satin nickel drawer pulls are a rather
modern touch, but otherwise this is another one that's very nicely suited to a smallish cottage style bath.
Decolav Lola White Vanity
Depending on how small your bathroom is, though, and whether or not you have any room for extra storage, you
might be better off opting with something like this petite, ultra-functional Lola vanity. Another personal favorite, this
little workhorse doubles up on the drawer space, with one regular and one double-deep drawer, but still gets
enough lift from the sassy curved feet to give it a little personality and a little extra white space. Like the Gabrielle,
this vanity combines simple modern lines (especially those drawer pulls) with a minimized classical silhouette,
which makes it equally suited for many different styles. And at a svelte 24", if you're really crunched for space, you
really won't find a bathroom vanity that offers a better combination of functionality and style.

Finally, if you care about storage space exactly not at all, a truly minimal white vanity like this Planet 85 wall
