is very expensive in
the CBD. Buildings are
often high rise.

and they were built for the
factory workers about 100
years ago.
These are the older factories
near the CBD. Many of them
have closed down and become
derelict.

3. These are semi detached
houses. They have
gardens and driveways.
These are detached houses.
They are found towards the
edge of the city nearest to
the countryside. This is
where land is cheapest.
