3. ITEM #1: BROOM (SCRUBBING)
Size depending on height of players and availability. Various versions are fine.
4. ITEM #2: BAR OF SOAP
Ideally rounded or oval, and about the size of a regular puck or a little smaller.
Alternatively e.g. a ball made of aluminum foil, a cleaning hand brush or another
small household item that can glide.
5. ARENA:
Kitchen floor, alternatively a large bathroom or other room with a tiled or smooth
floor, e.g. a cellar. Floor may or may not be made wet with detergent/soap first to
change gliding properties and make the game a messy fun (yet also a safety issue).
6. RULES: THERE ARE NO
(FIRM) RULES
Can be played 1 on 1, 2 on 2, or if there are many people and a large area available
(e.g. communal facility at a school or public bath) even 4 on 4 or more. Pets may
participate.
Designated goals + their size depends on number of players, available physical
space at location, and the participants (small kids, teenagers or adults).
Can be played with just the two items (broom and bar of soap), but players could
also decide to dress up with real or funny protective gear, e.g. ice hockey helmets,
shin guards, or conversely a bucket/pail as a helmet and garbage bags as jerseys.
Depending on the number of players who want to play, the game could go to 11
goals, 21 goals, different sets, etc. changing offense and defense and using counting
rules from games such as table tennis, volleyball, or street basketball.
Have fun!
