Process
The Silver Fiber
manufacturing process
is based on a complete,
solid and durable 99%
pure silver bonded to
polyamide.
Polyamide is used
because of its mechanical properties.
Silver is the base metalizing material, it has many excellent
characteristics; high electrical conductivity, static dissipating, high
thermal conductivity, IR reflectivity and scattering effect, radar
reflecting characteristics, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, as well as,
odor inhibiting characteristics.
Silver is also soft and extremely ductile; it never cracks.
Statex yarns, fibers and fabrics use Silver as their base plating,
others, including Copper, Tin and Nickel, can be added based on
the end use application.
