Report 20 Feb 09 by Rob Case, Hampton Roads Metropolitan Planning Organization (HRMPO); Hampton Roads Partnership (HRP) engaged the Virginia Dept. of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) to get funding for the development of this Transit Vision Plan (TVP) focusing on a network of higher-speed transit due to the delay of implementation of large highway projects and the inconvenience of current public transportation
