The Games workshop is a British game production and retailing company who are currently market leaders in developing the best battle games. This report will cover the tasks under the stock control, maintenance, refurbishment and security. ,[object Object],2.1. The staff members will provide useful information to us 2.2. Questions will be prepared for us to ask the staff members at the Games Workshop 2.3. Observations will be made by looking at the quality control, distribution, warehouse and the design and production. 2.4. Research will be undertaken after we have visited the Games workshop. 3.0 FINDINGS 3.1. General observations The Games Workshop is built on 12 acres of land with 3 buildings aged 6, 9 and 14 years old. They currently have 135 retail stores and more than 700 employees working for them. There are a few departments on the factory floor that provide space for the use of injection for the moulding machines and the conveyor belts. They have also provided suitable pathways and ramps for the fork lift trucks in both the warehouse and factory so that they can distribute goods around safely and easily. Certain areas within the building provide IT Hardware that have access to CAD/CAM software.
